How to update auctiva scrolling gallery

Don't worry, we are here to help with that. In the near future we will begin to update the Scrolling Gallery within active listings automatically, so that you don't have to spend hours making manual revisions.

Here's what to expect: Any listing eligible for revision and containing an older version of the Auctiva Scrolling Gallery will automatically be updated to the new version. The old Auctiva Scrolling Gallery code will be deleted from the listing, and the new, active content-free version will take its place. All customized Scrolling Gallery settings will be upheld in the new version to ensure a smooth transition. We have millions of Scrolling Galleries to update, so this process may require a little extra time to complete.

This is just the first way we're helping prepare for eBay's upcoming policy change, but we have a lot more on the way! In the near future we'll be releasing the new active content-free View Counters, and soon after that will come the new active content-free Listing Templates. If there are any questions please contact us anytime, or read our FAQs. Sincerely, Natasha. Further to the welcome news re the amendment to the scrolling gallery and the counter, we are receiving notices from Ebay urging us to update our listings.

Could you confirm when our listings will be updated please Thanks Martin Turff. You will see a Confirmation Auctiva Account Message which will be shown on the Auctiva Acct Dashboard once the upgrades have completed for your account.

If you haven't received the confirmation message its because many of the auto-upgrades are still being processed. Again by June all upgrades should be complete. But if you aren't already aware please note, come June , even if an eBay listing still contains a piece of active content, the listing will still be live and purchasable on eBay, the only thing that will change is that piece of the item description that contains active content will not render.

If the old version of the Auctiva Scrolling Gallery is the only thing you need to update, you can contact our Customer Support Team and they'll be able to run a command that will update Scrolling Gallery in your listings.

L ladyfire Member. I still have active scrolling gallery on all my auctions, how do i know if its the old or new one? Hello All - The new scrolling gallery has a small down arrow on the lower right of it which you can click to show it as a multiple or single row of items or an up arrow if your default is for the multi row gallery. If you can click on this to change the gallery between one scrolling row and a static multiple row of items it is the new gallery.

If you find that you have listings that still have one of the older scrolling galleries on them, please feel free to file a support case with us and provide some item numbers of active listings where this is occurring and we'll be happy to help with that. Notice that the web page is setup into two main sections called Account Preferences and Contact Preferences. Each has their own Update buttons to apply any changes to settings. Go to the second section called Listing Enhancements. Do not make the mistake of going into the next section and click Update email Preferences. On the options running across the top of the page, you will see Gallery on the top middle.

Hover your mouse over Gallery and a drop down menu shows. Click on Manage and you will see a 4 step tab display. You have different options to set under each tab. If you are using the default, just click through. Under the 3rd tab Placement, you can control where the gallery is placed. Message 13 of Membership Required We're sorry.

Unsubscribing to Autiva is not easy, - apparently Auctive wants you to keep it whether you want to or not. There is a method to their madness Rob, Thanks for taking the time to reply to the problem of removing the Auctiva scrolling gallery. I've had luck.

I tried your instructions and they worked like a charm. Thanks again! Rob, I'm unable to see the attachment to view what html to delete to rid my auctions of Auctiva. Would you mind reposting or possibly checking one of my auctions to let me know?
