How to disable trial timer

Please note that- You should not take this date before the installation date as some programmers are clever enough to block software and end your trial period. Then, You can either run program directly or create a custom shortcut for the modified program. In this way, you will be able to use fully functional version of that software forever by repeating the same procedure.

Above window shows expired trial of a program which is asking me to enter License key to unlock. I tried it opening at a specific date using Run as Date and full 45 Days of Trial period was retained.

So, I can run this software for next 45 days more without any interruption and actually purchasing license. Here is another program on which I tried extending its trial period of 30 days. I cannot guarantee that this software will be able to crack and extend trial period of any software but most of them can be done. This may not be able to crack Antivirus or Internet Security programs which generally stores this data on Web servers which cannot be hacked.

This tutorial should be taken for education and testing purpose only and not for any illegal usage. Note : This program just extends the trial limit of any software by changing the installation date. It means that the demo software with limitation if present will be available forever. Nice share Rohit, im going to try this with Roboform free. It stores unlimited passcards if you have the pro version, but only 10 if we have the free version. Wll, im still ising the trial version of Roboform pro.

It will turn into Roboform free after the trial period. Not sure how i can reset it though. See, Functions will be same as of now but only thing is that- you will be able to run it even after trial expiration. It may work for you. Sorry about the double post, just wanted to inform you that I have switched to Keepass, an open source password manager, same features of Roboform pro but its free. No time limits or Function limits. I used a software named Magic folder. I used to change my date and time wen using it ,, but it is not working now..

English is not my primary language. Sorry I do not undersand this portion. Most of my software is donated as I have no personal credit card and I perform my work since for no personal financial compensation.

The amount of days given to try are normally around 30 days but it could be shorter or longer depending on the author of the software. In the earlier days, you can easily run the expired software by simply backdating the date on your Windows operating system but some software has got smarter to detect this and instantly ends the trial period.

You might think to yourself, how does the shareware knows how many days left in the trial period? Most of the time these commercial and freeware protectors drop some information somewhere deep inside your computer after installation so they know when it was installed and then comparing with the official current time pulled from the Internet.

It is possible to find the location that records that information by using file or registry monitoring software including third party uninstaller software such as Revo Uninstaller but it can be tedious and frustrating work. As the name might suggest, RunAsDate performs a trick on the trial software that has expired by injecting the time and date you specify into its process. This has a similar effect to manually setting your system clock to a different time and date, but in this instance your real clock remains unchanged.

RunAsDate can also have multiple instances of its program running at once, and each one can have a separate date, all different to the real one.

Now simply press the Run button. In fact if you know the registry location of where the trial information are recorded for a shareware program, you can create your own text file and save it in the Lists folder. Do note that Trial-Reset does not modify the shareware in anyway. It simply cleans the registry keys generated by the protectors which are normally not removed even after uninstalling the software.

This is how a lot of shareware knows you have no trial period left, even if you uninstall and re-install the program again. Trial-Reset is very easy to use. To start scanning, simply click on the All located at the bottom left. The scanning will take a while since some of the methods require scanning the hard drive. The right pane will show all the detected keys that are used by any shareware titles.

You can backup, view or delete the keys, add to protect or auto cleaning list from the right click context menu. If you have a lot of shareware installed, there will be quite a number of results and you will need to do a trial and error to find the key that is associated with the software that you want to reset the trial period.

Some leave a file or file or marker in the registry or in Program Data Windows telling the software how long it has to live.

Other programs will track the date internally or use more sophisticated methods of enforcing trial periods. Below are just some of the ways you can reinstall trial software after the free trial has ended. Not all methods will work in all circumstances, as different developers use varying methods to track trials.

You will have to experiment with each to find what works for you. An installation monitor is a piece of software that exactly records every action taken by a setup or install program — every file transferred, every registry entry changed or created, every checkpoint created, and every icon installed. By using an installation monitor when you install a free trial, you can get an exact catalog of what it installs. Ordinary uninstall programs, provided by the software manufacturer, leave traces all over your computer, whether through sloppiness or design.

Mirekusoft Install Monitor is one install monitor that you can use to perform this function. It has the advantage of being free, and it tracks everything a program installs and the locations where the files are installed.

You can then forensically uninstall or delete every file once you uninstall the trial, which should allow you to reinstall trial software after the free trial has ended. The uninstaller that comes with your software is usually pretty sloppy. Nobody normally needs an uninstaller to get every last file, and nobody ever made a software purchase on the basis of how well its uninstall program worked.

So predictably, uninstallers will often miss or ignore entries in the registry and on your hard drive. Using a third-party uninstaller such as Revo Uninstaller or IObit Uninstaller removes every file from everywhere. If the trial program leaves a certificate file or other resource to prevent reinstallation, these apps should find and delete it.

The Windows registry is an enormous database of stored values describing just about every aspect of every piece of software and hardware on your machine. Many programs will leave traces of themselves in the registry, even if you use the included uninstaller.

Even a file uninstaller might not get every registry entry, particularly if the setup and uninstall programs were designed to leave a registry entry hidden somewhere to prevent double-runs of the trial software. However, this is relatively easy to defeat.

All you have to do is take a snapshot of your Windows Registry before you install the trial for the first time. Then install and use the trial, and when the time period runs out, uninstall it, then restore the Registry to the saved values it had before the trial. However, note that this has the potential of getting your PC into a confused state, as any other changes that other programs have logged to the Registry in the meantime will also be lost.

If the software uses a registry key to track trial installations, then this should work around that. Method 2 Adjusting the clock date and time of your computer system before starting installation of trial software to future data, or adjusting the clock to past date after expired trial period. Method 3 Use a application installation monitoring software or uninstaller software such as Norton Cleansweep , Your Uninstaller!

Method 4 Backup the registry before installation of software, and restore the registry after trial period passed. Method 5 Reinstall windows, and you can be sure that you can use all trial demo shareware again, as all dummy registry entries and dummy files that store trial information are wiped off. Method 6 Find a crack, with the help of cracks search engine such as Astalavista. Method 7 Search with various search engines such as Google and Yahoo! Method 8 If you use any of the following software, then Trial-Reset can helps you to extend the trial period of the software.
